[Q]
Quotation – a listing or a statement of the value of a security.
Quote – the highest and lowest prices of a given security at a given time – made up of the bid and ask.
Quick Ratio – cash and equivalents divided by current liabilities. This is a more conservative version of the current ratio, in which the numerator is only the cash and equivalents. A ratio greater than one indicates that the company could pay off all the obligations due within a year (i.e. its current liabilities) from cash and equivalents. Both the quick ratio and the current ratio are examples of liquidity ratios.
